Launch Allavsoft and it is very easy for you to see a red "REC" button. Click the red "REC" button and a recording window will appear.
Note: If you want to download videos from YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook etc websites, just add the video URL to Allavsoft by copying and pasting or by dragging and dropping. And then it will automatically download them without recording.
If you want to adjust the recording area you can move the frame by dragging the cross in the center or drag and drop the edges of the frame.
Click the "Record" button and your wanted video will be started to be recorded in 3 seconds. You are also allowed to click the "Pause" button, "Delete" button or "Stop" button to pause the video recording, delete the video recording or stop the video recording.
Notes: By default, it records videos in .mp4 format. If you only record music audio files, it also shows the file extension as .mp4, in fact it is .mp3 format. Simply rename the mp4 to mp3, or simply ignore it, it does not affect the playback effect.
